The Saturday before Easter was the annual Summer Ridge Easter Egg Hunt. We were so excited to have Laine participate, as last year she was just too young. The neighborhood is rather large so they break down the kids into different age groups--Laine was in the 0-2 year olds, and they "hunted" on the basketball court, which Mommy appreciated. Our park field is notoriously soggy and solid ground is always better when dealing with Laine, who always seems to be tripping over her shoes.

Laine was obsessed with the Easter Bunny. I was shocked, as he was a little creepy--his face was sort of smashed in. Who would have thought, when she was so freaked out over Santa?! I think she would have followed this bunny anywhere; in fact, she did. I think we said "hello" to him four or five times!
