Party! Party!

Laine turned two October 20th, and we had a fun shindig in honor of Our Little Sunshine. We had a really great time with lots of friends, and for the second year in a row there was decent weather--which meant the bounce house borrowed from the neighbors could be utilized. (And I mean that, Laine was on it for an hour before the party started!)

KidsQuest

Trying to catch up on months of no blog updates, and there's no way to capture all that we've missed, but... We spent one October day busy, busy, busy at the KidsQuest Museum. It was much more memorable than the last time we visited, as Laine was able to do everything.

Ty Rose's Birthday

Here I am a few days into 2012, madly attempting to catch up on 2011. I only wish I could remember all the details, so many months later...but here's what's left in my brain.

Laine attended a fun birthday party for Tyler Rose. It was held at The Little Gym in Seattle, and we had to prepare Laine for the fact that her teachers wouldn't be there and it might be a bit different. She had a great time, and I was so proud of her as she said her name boldly and tapped the teacher's tamborine, just like in her class. She wasn't much put off by the new faces, which isn't always the case.

Tyler had quite a fun time--I have never seen such a red face! All the kids were wound up but the birthday boy was so flushed--it was very cute! Cupcakes and juice were a welcome reprieve.
