Saving for Videos
We got a phenomenal HD video camera from my parents this Christmas, but I've been having trouble getting them posted on here. Saving this spot to share some of our favorites!
Three Months Old
Ice cream pie to celebrate Laine's 3 month milestone...then we found out she's allergic to cow's milk protein and I had to eliminate all dairy from my diet. No more ice cream for mommy!
Wrestling with Daddy after work.
Big smiles!
Laine mistakes Daddy's nose for her dinner.
Our happy girl.

Laine's First Photo Shoot
Laine was just six days old when we had Desiree Swanson come to our home and photograph Laine. We turned up the heat to keep Laine drowsy and had her well fed before Desiree arrived. Grandma Good was staying to help out with the new baby, and she was able to see Desiree in action with Laine. Needless to say, I've never seen a photographer work so well with a newborn! She had many tricks up her sleeve, including a heating pad and sound machine, and it all helped her keep Laine asleep while she was posed.
We moved the dining room table aside as that was the best natural light for Desiree. She brought in her props and Laine was very cooperative, sleeping nearly the whole time. She did wake, however, just when we wanted her to, so that we were able to get a few shots with her beautiful blue eyes open!
Jayson got to participate by holding Laine in a few of the shots. My two favorites are the photos above and below. I think Laine looks totally angelic.
The scale in the photo above is what got my attention when my friend Cami used Desiree for newborn photos of her sweet daughter Courtney. I just had to know who had taken the pictures and would we be able to use that scale too!
It's hard to believe this was over three months ago...Laine has changed so much but the time has passed so fast.

Trying to Catch Up!
I am so far behind in "launching" this blog that in order to catch up I am dumping all kinds of photos in this post. They are not even chronological...but they are all my favorites from December up to January 20th, when she turned 3 months old. I will be caught up after my next few posts and will hopefully not fall behind again!
Laine has a love affair with this flower rattle.
All the books we ordered from Barnes and Noble arrived! So far, Laine doesn't have much patience to sit down and be read to, but we keep trying. Everything going into Laine's mouth these days!
Cute handknit hat from Bernie Mitchell (a former co-worker of Grandpa Good's). There is a beautiful matching sweater that doesn't quite fit just yet...we can't wait until it does!
